What an amazing week ! As part of the opening ceremony we paraded through the streets of Monthey. The fireworks at the end were better than Disney's ! The Olympic Flame had been brought all the way from Athens. Being part of the GB Team was brilliant..we even got asked for our autographs by some kids ! The ski team was Callum Campbell, Ali Macfie,me, Joanne Ryding, Dani Bryson & Lousie Thomas.

The races were delayed due to too much snow. The GS was held in Les Crosets, the first run went really well, but on the second my ski came off, I was really disappointed. At the SL at Morgins, I straddled three gates from the finish and had to hike back up. I was last out of the gate on my second run, but ended up 4.7 seconds behind the leader....so pretty good really. The Super G was the last run....2km long and pretty scarey. I didnt ski my best but managed to make some points so it was good to finish with a result !
